"Russian Air Force and Air Force Syria has completely stopped flying in Aleppo over the past seven days," said a spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov.
"Fighter jets we were not approached, especially attacks on all parts of Aleppo," he added in a statement, as reported by Russia Today on Tuesday (25/10).
On the same occasion, Konashenkov also said there were at least 48 people, all of which are women and children who made it out of Aleppo east. They came out using the path of humanity agreed Russia and the United States (US) a few months ago.
"Monday night, 48 women and children were accompanied by officers from the central Russian reconciliation and the Syrian authorities to leave Aleppo east through a humanitarian corridor. They were also given the necessary assistance, such as medical, hot meals, and accommodations the night," he said.
The spokesman added, civilians Aleppo could use six humanitarian corridor to leave the city. They will then be treated in the reception center and given first aid and hot food.
